The Royal Oak (decorated for the festival)
Eaton's last remaining pub is now owned by a village consortium
under new management in 2005.
It was much extended during the last tenancy and now provides a high standard of comfort and space.
The Landlord and Landlady are
Mark and Jane Stockhall have stamped their
on the old building, notably with the sale of cask ales, including
a regular 'guest' beer.
The "Traditional Village Pub" atmosphere has been restored without losing the comfort provided by the recent extensions.
Evening meals are now available from Tuesday to Sunday.
These seems to have had the seal of approval from many villagers who return regularly to the restaurant.
There are regular Quiz nights on Mondays and occasional Special Events. (Call for details).
We heartily recommend a visit to our village and of course a "Pint at the Local".
