One section is the web site of the Stafford Morris Men .

Morris dancing is the most flamboyant of my interests.
This site will tell you about this ancient and exuberant art form.

Even more exotic is my membership of an exclusive organisation called the
Illustrious Order of the Fools and Beasts , otherwise known as the Fools Union.
In this company to be called a fool is an honour!
In this section i am assisted by my Hobby-horse Knotty,
who is much more well known than I am.

I have been involved with Church Eaton Village Institute for many years,
including a lengthy spell as Chairman of the Management Committee.
I felt this ancient and excellent building needed exposure to the WWW,
so these pages should tell you all about it.

We have been issuing family newsletters for many years,
to go with our Christmas cards.

The Skills link goes to my venture, which was designed to make use of the amazing range of skills discarded by ALSTOM T&D Stafford. However, that was not required because most of the people involved went on to get better jobs.
This site will be revived to provide links to local enterprises with a proven track record.

Following my decision to leave ALSTOM, I thought it might be a good Idea to put my CV on the net, just in case somebody wanted to use my talents.
This Personal page will get you to my bit of self- promotion, but the truth is after
several years of very full retirement; I don't really want to go back to work!

My "paying hobby" as a Barn Dance Caller, has been great fun for over 30 years.
These days I see myself as an "Emergency caller" on short notice
when other callers have problems. This is because long term commitments tend to
stop me doing other things that I want to do.
The link goes to my pages on the subject.
They are now intended to help organisers rather than to get me work.

Stafford Freemen's Guild is an organisation I joined, having been admitted as a Burgess of the Borough of Stafford on the 20th August 1997, by reason of Servitude:
{I did a five year apprenticeship in the town}.

Having reached the dizzy heights of Deputy Master of the Guild,
I was involved in organising the 2009 AGM of the Freemen of England and Wales.
